Are you a sucker for baking chocolate chip cookies…for the eighth time? Let’s face it, during quarantine, it is easy to let things go and get out of a rhythm of healthy eating and exercise.

Gyms are closed. You don’t have a lot of at-home workout equipment. What can you do to keep moving and social distance at the same time?
Walk or bike the Glenwood Bike Path. There’s nothing like strolling under the beautiful oak trees in Glenwood.
Download a workout app. There are tons of free workout apps. Many are free and offer tutorials on ways you can stay in shape. If you are bolder, choose one that requires a subscription such as Beachbody On Demand.
Have a pool? Swimming is a great way to burn calories, as long as you stay moving. The best part is, you keep cool at the same time!
The old fashioned way. Want to build some muscle, but don’t have weights? Push-ups and sit-ups/crunches still work great!
Yoga on Youtube. Search Youtube for some great yoga instruction. There is no lack of content!
Go for a walk at Lake Woodruff National Wildlife Refuge. There is plenty of room for social distancing. Heck, you are much more likely to be close to a blue heron, sandhill crane, or egret than another human.
These are just a few ideas. You never know, some of these habits might stick!
