If you’ve been wanting to eat at Cress Restaurant, but keep finding their events sold out, your luck is about to change!
After a two year stint of ticketed events, Cress Restaurant is returning to regular dinner service. The highly acclaimed restaurant has been open since August 2008 but Chef Hari Pulapaka has opened only for special events for the past two years.
Cress Restaurant, located at 103 W. Indiana Ave, returns to a full-time schedule begins with a la carte dinner service from 5 to 9 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday. However, there are plans to begin lunch service in September.
Chef Pulapaka’s success at Cress Restaurant focuses on unique dishes that use local, farm-to-table food and intentional support of the community. The addition of two sous chefs and an assistant sous chef will continue Chef Pulapaka’s bold flavors and his effort to produce food with zero waste.
Chef Pulapaka owns the restaurant with his wife, Jenneffer, who is the wine director at Cress Restaurant. She has designed some new cocktails for their return to dinner service.
