After occupying three locations over its six year existence, Beeatroot has found its way “home”. Now a permanent fixture of Downtown DeLand, Beeatroot opened in its new location at 105 Artisan Alley on February 8. Just steps away from the DeLand Wings mural, directly behind Persimmon Brewing Company, Beeatroot is a unique addition to the eclectic mix of businesses located on the Alley.
Open regularly from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday, Beeatroot can also be accessed off of Persimmon Lane from Georgia Ave or SR 44 when events in Artisan Alley make access limited.
The orange and green walls welcome customers to pull up a barstool and take a load off, or grab one of their reusable mason jar glasses to go. Beeatroot’s locally-made, organic, cold-pressed juice comes in many flavor options. Their namesake juice is a combination of Beet, Apple, Lemon and Ginger.
Flavors on hand change during the year as fruits and vegetables come into season. Other flavor options include Ginger Snap (Apple, Orange and Ginger), Mojito Haze (Apple, Spinach, Cucumber, Lemon and Mint), Care Berry (Carrot, Strawberry, Orange and Pineapple), Green Beauty (Pineapple, Cucumber, Celery and Kale) and Vegan Vampire (Collards, Cucumber and Pear). Their juices and smoothies also come with add on options such as immunity boosters, energy shots or CBD isolate.
A grand opening for their new location is being planned during April. Check out their Facebook page at www.beeatroot.com.
