Persimmon Hollow Brewing is adding an additional location to their ranks. A new brewery and taproom will open on Lake Eola in the Thornton Park District of Orlando. The location features both indoor and outdoor seating as they renovate the 227 N Eola Dr space vacated by Panera Bread on the first floor of the EO Inn. The renovation will include a 7 barrel brewing system and a kitchen featuring a local food vendor.
The beer menu will host a rotation of brews unique to the new location along with the core beers customers have come to love. Their current taproom, located at 111. W Georgia Ave in Downtown DeLand’s SoNY district will continue to brew the core beers for both locations.
Persimmon Hollow’s second location in Thornton Park joins an already eclectic group of unique offerings such as Juice’d, a juice and smoothie bar, JINYA Ramen Bar, and award-winning Soco Thornton Park which features southern contemporary cuisine. Directly across the street from Lake Eola Park, customers can take advantage of the swan-shaped paddleboat on the lake, catch a show at the Walt Disney Amphitheater, take in the scenic city skyline views, or catch the nightly fountain show.
The new location is expected to open in the spring of 2020. The announcement of the expansion comes as Persimmon Hollow celebrates its five year anniversary.
