It’s been six years since the dreams of two DeLand locals became a reality. In 2014, Robbie Carelli and Andy Sistrunk began Persimmon Hollow, the now-beloved craft brewery in Downtown DeLand. It is considered to be an anchor in the Artisan Alley district of businesses that are west of Woodland Blvd.
Now, Robbie and Andy have made another dream come true. Persimmon Hollow has added a second location near Downtown Orlando. The location is at 227 N. Eola Drive, in the old Panera Bread location overlooking Lake Eola. The two founders hope that they can replicate the same friendly culture and community in the Downtown DeLand location, yet believe the Lake Eola location will be a unique experience.
The picturesque location at Lake Eola is a great draw for many to enjoy their favorite brew. With indoor and outdoor seating, there are options to safely enjoy a relaxing time at the brewery. Plus, the location is near great restaurants that can provide a great experience on the town with friends. Don’t feel like driving? Take the SunRail to the Lynx station. Persimmon Hollow is only a few blocks away as you walk along the shores of Lake Eola.
