Predictions of this year’s holidays sales season say that 86% of Americans are planning to cash in on pre-Christmas sales such as Black Friday, Cyber Monday and Small Business Saturday.  The bulk of all shopping is expected to follow the trend of purchasing online with Americans expected to drop nearly $87 billion in this major holiday shopping weekend, but local shopping has a lot to offer for the person who is hard to buy for.

The MainStreet DeLand Association is hosting Small Business Saturday this year on November 30 from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Downtown DeLand provides a great experience to shop with friends and family. We polled some locals about some of their favorite stores in Downtown DeLand that to find that perfect Christmas gift.
