Much to the chagrin of eligible bachelorettes around the country, Tim Tebow recently got married. That will probably go down as his favorite day of his life, but there is another favorite day that likely comes just under that, and it happens every year. That is the day of Night to Shine, a prom that happens around the world for people with special needs. The event is an extension of his non-profit, the Tim Tebow Foundation.

This year will likely be a special year for Tebow as he visits several sites across the globe with his new bride, Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters. Will they visit DeLand?

Night to Shine is coming to DeLand for the third year. On February 7, 2020, 500 churches around the world will host Night to Shine for 90,000 honored guests through the support of 175,000 volunteers. Night to Shine, hosted locally by Stetson Baptist Church, is an unforgettable prom night experience, centered on God’s love, for people with special needs ages 14 and older.

Attendees are called VIP’s and are given a night they will always remember. The night is filled with dancing, limo rides, shoe shines, karaoke and so much more. At the end of the night, each VIP will be crowned king or queen of the prom. Below is a video clip of last year’s event in DeLand.

Although the DeLand event reached capacity for attendees and volunteers, mark you calendar for next year’s event. Find out more at https://www.nighttoshinedeland.org/.

You never know, number 15 might even show up!
