Ed worked for a management consultant firm for twenty-three years, developing systems for management. He focused primarily on continuous improvement projects which focused on process development, cost reduction and organizational development with the objective of increasing productivity without sacrificing quality or customer service.
Ed enjoyed the traveling and enjoyed bringing his wife and daughters on business trips with him to Paris, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, South America, and all across the United States.
After consulting, he looked to slow the hectic business pace and traveling to stay closer to home. The girls were out of the house and married. He decided now to become a licensed REALTOR® and Broker in Florida and now works with residential and commercial property. Ed is a member of the Florida Association of Realtors and has enjoyed every day working with Swann Real Estate in DeLand, FL for the past ten years.
Ed appreciates being home now and finds involvement in the local community the greatest reward. He has been a member Rotary International for fourteen years, serving as a Past President of the Rotary of Deland Club and honored as Rotarian of the Year four times. Also active in his parish and grandchildren’s school, Ed is a member and Past President of the St. Peter’s School Board.
