A native of DeLand, Turner completed the Volusia County school circuit and continued education at Stetson University. Upon graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities, Turner worked in the sales, technology, and operations of a 501(c3) music festival company. Deciding to enter real estate in 2013, Turner became a licensed Sales Associate and began graduate work in real estate finance (Master’s of Science Real Estate [MSRE]) at the University of Central Florida. Upon graduation in May 2015, Turner also obtained his Broker License.
In addition to Swann Real Estate, Turner is active with SwannCollins Consulting (management consulting) & Lakemont Group (real estate consulting) . Most at home with working through and explaining financial models for real estate transactions, Turner is ARGUS Certified (both DCF and Developer). Also a designated e-Pro®, he has experience with marketing in today’s real estate world.
Besides numbers, databases, and financial analysis, Turner enjoys making rounds to the Downtown DeLand eateries and ensuring that people do not turn at the intersection of New York and Woodland avenues. Also outside of real estate, you can most likely find Turner playing music, assisting local non-profits with technology, and enjoying spring rolls at Oudum’s Thai or bacon at The Potato Patch.
